TREHALOSE is a disaccharide used by various organisms, including some desert plants, to survive in severe droughts and extremely high temperatures. It absorbs and stores water molecules to provide consistent hydration. In cosmetic use, trehalose combats excessive moisture loss thereby protecting the skin from dehydration; this process is particularly evident in old age and disorders characterised by flaking skin (dermatitis and psoriasis).

OLUS OIL (SEBO-SIMILAR VEGETABLE OIL): rich in fatty acids (palmitic acid 12%, stearic acid 3%, oleic acid 72%, linoleic acid 11%).

UREA AND PCA (PYROGLUTAMIC ACID): these are the basic components of NMF (Natural Moisturizing Factor), which maintains and balances moisture in the corneal layer.

VEGETABLE GLYCERIN: humectant, emollient; regulates insensible perspiration.

UNSAPONIFIABLE CONSTITUENTS FROM SHEA BUTTER: these create a natural protective filter that it well tolerated by baby skin; assists in the treatment of dry skins, fistulas, eczemas, haemorrhoids, fissures and cuts; slows down the development of stretch marks and blemishes.

VITAMIN E: an antioxidant, reduces skin damage in cases of excessive exposure to radiation and pollutants.
